wolfpair1        Tears of Sadness            wolfpair2

(dedicated to all those who have faced these poisons, and have suffered)

Tears of sadness flow, enough to fill a river,
torrential, ever winding, throughout the lands,
ever reaching out, affecting everyone in their path,
a path that seems bent on total destruction.
No rock is left unturned, no area, no one untouched.
Streaming from all the injustice that continues,
from all the hate others harbor for one another,
there seems to be no end in sight, but rather a toxin
spreading across the lands, feeding this hate, this injustice.

Tears of sadness flow, enough to fill a river,
watching the indiscriminate actions of others for profit,
the ripping deep in the bowels of Mother Earth, the poisoning,
carried on by these others, those who have no feeling,
no harmony, no balance in their lives so they strike out at those
they think are weakest, those they think they can hurt.
Where does all this come from? Is it such inner hatred?
Or is it just total disrespect for our Earth Mother?
Does it follow the path as determined by Creator?

Tears of sadness flow, enough to fill a river.
Still this continues whether it be in harsh words to one another
or in the greed that drives men to rip Mother Earth apart,
not considering the consequences, that it affects us all,
including those who are guilty of such vile actions.
How can they live with themselves, and face each morning?
How can they continue to disrespect themselves so much
that this disrepect is redirected toward others, causing pain,
causing confusion, causing this poison to keep on flowing?

Tears of sadness flow, enough to fill a river.
When the animals are gone, when plant life is nonexistent,
when water is no longer potable, then will they listen?
Then will they try to right these wrongs or will it be too late?
Will they learn to live in peace with one another,
and treat Mother Earth with the respect She deserves?
An ominous cloud lies overhead, growing larger with each act
of disrespect whether it be against others or precious Mother Earth.
This cloud is ever growing, choking off the lives of the innocent.

Tears of sadness flow, enough to fill a river.
What will be left for our children, the seventh generation?
Will there be pristine forests, or the beauty of the desert?
Or will these people, consumed with greed, these hate mongers, continue
to choke off the life we all love so well, one with peace, with balance?
Will they continue to rip out what they want from Mother Earth?
Will they continue with their tactics to destroy the lives of others?
Or will we stand up against these forces? We have the strength,
the strength , the balance, the harmony, the peace they lack.

Tears of sadness flow, enough to fill a river.
These poisons, these toxins, cannot continue to fill these hearts.
These poisons, these toxins, cannot continue to fill these lands.
We are many; we are strong; together we stand united
against all those who try to infect us and our lands with their poisons.
This infection cannot continue to spread because we are the antidote.
This river cannot continue to flow, spreading these poisons,
affecting all in its wake. No, the time has come to stand together as one.
to protect Mother Earth, each other, the coming seventh generation.
